enjoy the sunset


even nanda devi is now getting dark


increased the light sensitivity of the camera for some of these shots. but it makes the pictures a bit too grainy







cooking dinner. the shephards had lent us their hut for the night. they had even assigned the younger bhotia dog to guard us. they r really very hospitable ppl.
dinner was daal (lentils), chawal(rice) with some masala (spices).



time to sleep


getting up early in the morning, to catch the sunrise


the panch chulis r still dark


but light or darkness, these peaks still look beautiful


the eastern faces of some of the peaks start getting some sunshine





the sun will rise from somewhere behind those peaks.
