This is a close up of Maiktoli and its snow wall


This are some other high peaks in the region, like Biljuru, Changru, etc. Two japanese climbers had died while trying to ascend this peak. A helicopter had gone to try and locate their bodies, which were in such difficult place, that even despite locating them, it was impossible to get them out.











We decided to climb up and explore the Chilta Mai temple and the bugyals next to it.


Another view of the Sundardhunga valley. See, the snow has already started melting, just after a few hours of sunshine.
