The snowfall finally finished by late evening..after almost eight hours
Dhakuri buried under layers and layers of snow
The night slowly sets in
In the distance, you can see the fog slowly lifting from the hills on the other side of the Pindar valley
Fog lifting over Dhakuri pass also
The base of the mighty peaks surrounding Nanda Devi becomes visible.
We had a dinner cooked on a fire...tasted even better. We had some egg curry with paranthas..yummy. nothing better in the world than sitting next to the fireplace in Kumaon during a snowfall and having some good food (north indian style)
