We had gone on a trip to Kumaon in Oct - Nov 2011. The original plan was to climb Chhiplakedar (Chhiplakot), but given the time constrains, we did not do so. Instead, we went to Chaudas valley (narayan ashram, himkhola, syangse sthan, shyankoti, etc). It was nice to visit Himkhola village again and enjoy their hospitality. Also made a small documentary after climbing shyankoti :)
We missed on seeing the stone statues erected by the Phagaliyal (Fagaliyal?) clan. Will do that next time. The jungles of Kumaon are a treasure trove of history and this trip was like playing a Kumaoni version of Lara Croft Tomb raider :)

Dear Prashant - any new trips on the horizon? Im an UKhand devotee as well, aso wondering if you were able to figure how to buy land in UK as a non domicile?
