NKB

During my last trip to kumaon, I had stopped over at Kainchi. The temple was looking as beautiful as ever. However, I was a bit sad to notice that not many fish were visible in the stream below it. I still remember those red fish very clearly when I used to visit that temple regularly.

Some pictures of the temple and its surroundings are given below...

a strange thing happened in the first pic. the above pic was taken in the fruit market of Bhowali. I had not noticed the pic of babaji inside the shop, since it was dark. i just wanted to take a pic which captures the different moments of the journey - like stopping for fruits in bhowali. later on, when i took out the image and viewed it in full size (8 mpix), i noticed babaji's picture in the shop, which was captured by my camera. a very pleasant surprise, i must say :-)

this cute dog was in the dhabha on the other side of the road. these dhabas server some really good breakfast.
