Hi all,
This january, i had planned a long winter trip in kumaon himalayas. however, due to my granda's accident, we had to slash the idea of a long trip. ultimately, it was a small one week trip, in which i tried to trek to the bugyals above the himkhola village. the weather was fantastic in the hills... better than lucknow, kanpur and kolkata. i had a great time at the village and in almora. the hospitality of the villagers was awesome and their food was out of this world. also met a very special buddy after 8 long years. that was the best part of the trip. hope everyone enjoys the pics and videos of this trip.

U r such a motivated trekker because solo-trekking is a big deal.Well, following your foot-steps, I completed my first trek just a week back and it was awesome. I trekked to Chandrashilla.
