Munsyari Khalia Top Part 21
panch chulis
now i plan to trek to the base of these peaks in the winters. i guess it will be a white heaven in those days.
nanda devi
check the single strand of grass at the bottom of this pic
these pics were taken lying down on the ground
these slopes are great for skiing in the winters. will definitely come here this february
now this time the hexagon has come out nicely
the peak to the left of panch chulis. beyond it lies chiring we, burphu top and many more beautiful peaks. it will be really wonderful to climb in that area
ralam peaks (on the right) and burphu peaks (on the left).
trivia: burphu is the 3rd last village on the way to milam. after burphu lies bilju and then finally milam village. from burphu, on a clear day, u can get a solid view of these burphu peaks
nanda devi - the sunlight reflecting off the snow
tomorrow morning i will go back by this way
nanda devi, nanda kot, etc
the steep cliffs
aother great trekking idea -> go along this ridge and see how far can u go. i think u can almost reach the base of nanda kot.
nanda devi - in a few hrs she will be clouded again. this is one of the most beautiful peaks you can ever see. next time i will try to buy a zoom lens and shot it with that.
cliffs!!! - shortcut to village quette :-))
if ppl r interested in para gliding, i guess this is a real challenging place. reminds me of a race i had seen in top gear. the driver challenged a trekker. the driver will drive down and the trekker will go straight down the rocks. however, the trekker had something to help him - gravity ;-)). he let the driver go first. then he took out a small parachute from his back pack. then - well, he just dived down. and he cover that distance of 2000 feet vertical drop in just 20 secs. beat that!!! :-))
this slope is for daredevil skiing
down there is munsyari
time for a photo session. ganga ram was more than ready for it. the ppl in munsyari really love to lead a colourful life.
more pics to follow. go to the next page :-).
