Munsyari Khalia Top Part 5
quetee village. while the kids had gone to fetch "master ji", i took some pics here n there
tried to capture the moon in this shot
a small "nala" near quetee. in other parts of the world, they will call it a "waterfall" :-)
zoom up of nala
this is the route to munsyari. we have to cross that massive mountain.
the small waterfall u see is actually birthi falls. it is one of the largest waterfalls in kumaon. seems small becoz of the distance
on the top of this hill lies kalamuni (black sage). a dark coloured priest runs a temple here.
taking a snap of birthi falls from the moving car.
road block
cute kid
guys, please let us through. i have to reach munsyari in this lifetime
honk honk
finally we reached birthi. a sweet doggie was there to welcome us.
but the doggie was camera shy.
true beauty
i just increased the exposure time to give the water a flowing effect. this is a good place to learn photography
wow, the water had a thunderous roar
there is a place further up, from where u can view the falls. but we were getting late, so had to leave. did not go all the way up.
believe it or not, but there were some women near the top of the waterfall. they were cutting osme grass for their homes
a zoom up of those ladies in the centre of the pic. now this is real rock climbing.and they do it on a daily basis.
