chaukori is a famous tourist spot over here. it has a cozy rest house. i guess i will spend a day there this winter. just elt the snow fall.

now i had another nap. we crossed thal, a major station on the way and enterd pithoragarh district.

trivia: thal means bottom. this place lies at the bottom of the last valley before munsyari. u can get lots of buses/taxis from this place.

we stopped for some tea and snacks at quetee/kutee - call it whatever u like.

i know the master trainer in herbal department in this village. last year he had gone with me till the milam glacier. he goes there to distribute herbs which the villagers grow in the high altitude villages.
