Munsyari Khalia Top Part 3
another clear view of the stream that i liked. felt like lazing out near this one. it would be wonderful to bask in the sun over here, with the soft gurgling sound of water in the backgrund. ahhhh, peace.
the maruti van in which we travelled
all around is greenery, greenery and more greenery
the road to heaven. we were quite neAR dhaul chinna now
finally, we reached dhaul chinna. u can get some very large and tasty paranthas over here. of course, u get other good dishes also. i decided to hog on the paranthas. this is a large map of uttaranchal outside the restaurant.
a view to the south west of dhaul chinna.
a view to the north east of dhaul chinna :-)
this place is on the top of a ridge. so u get some pretty good views from here.
this is a glimpse of nanda devi, partially covered by the clouds
the water flowing through various rivers and streams in the hills starts evaporating as the sun rises. it then collects around the higher peaks. the peaks seem to arract the moisture around them.
that is why it is advised to get up early to view the hills. the best views are between 9 and 10 am. after that it slowly and slowly starts geting cloudy.
see, how the clouds surround the peaks. by lunch time u won't be able to view them. this happens on a daily basis.
tried to close up on nanda devi
while the chef was preparing his various pahadi delicacies, i hoppedover to the top of the ridge. there were some good views coz the clouds had not covered the hills completely.
we had to go down and then up and then down and then up......
dense forests around dhaul chinna.
the chef then prepared the paranthas, which i gobbled down. u get approximately 2 paranthas for 10 bucks. good price.
now it was time to resume the journey.
some more views as we came down. this view was my dessert. ;-)
